By Sea        From Rte. 128        From Logan Airport       The Last Mile

Marblehead, often referred to as the "Yachting Capital of the World", is approximately 18 statutory miles northeast of Boston, along the north shore of Massachusetts Bay. This small coastal community has always been in love with boats, and in fact, was the birthplace of the American Navy. Marblehead Neck, a small spit of land connected to shore by a narrow causeway, forms a natural harbor that is now home to approximately 2000 boats. For those unable to find mooring room in Marblehead Harbor, Salem Harbor just to the west provides additional room.

Within Marblehead Harbor, the Boston Yacht Club is located about halfway up the northwest, or town, side.
