so ok ... this year at Xmas Break Spin Training Camp, Sophie decided that she would take the record for the youngest gal spin helm on Vee Jay at age 9. Also Vee Jay spin driver with most freckles. She is from Team Belle Faster J30 # 537.

Well ... first it has to be sunny out, and then it has to be low 80s, and then the water has to be pretty flat. And then she has to know that someone is going to take her picture. Then she has to know that her brother isn't going to be a tiller hog. And then she has to know she's competing for a Vee Jay record.
She also ties a fast mean clove hitch when she was securing the spin lines on the storage hanger. same way every time.
I can't get some of my senior citizens to be able to tie a clove hitch after three tries ... never mind more than once in a row.

Michael - bring the kids up to Newport this summer too. Vic will guarantee all the same conditions and we can coordinate a Rhapsody - Vee Jay photo shoot....
