Marco Isl YC Fall Regatta late November 09 ... one spin start ... unfortunately Vee Jay went the wrong way ending right behind the Santa Cruz 37 with a phrf of 39, and a Farr 39.5 with a phrf of 51. We don't have to do much strategy in this kind of a race ... other than to tack away.

Interesting to end up doing a good start ... then realize you are right between the two biggest and fastest Spin A boats. duh...

Fortunately they disappear from view after the first couple of tacks... until you are on the wrong side of the course when they pop spins and we have to tack away again. Interesting the J105 with a phrf of 78 took first with only one second out of 6 races.
