Congrats to Chris Tate with the J/30 Blitz crew winning first place in the 2017 New England J/Fest in the three boat J/30 fleet on a tie breaker with Daniel Borsutzky's Flying High. Jim Hilton in KAOS missed the first two races because he was in the wrong starting area in the fog .

There were 73 entries total for the 2nd New England J/Fest - almost double from the previous year. Next year the J/30 Class needs to up their showing to more than three boats!
