The Vee Jay regatta schedule is at Naples Sailing Schedule 2010-2011 Season

So OK we may be a little tame compared to racing "up Nort" but still a lot of fun ... eventhough we are known to leave the dock at 45 degrees ... is generally warms up to 70 by the first race in the "dead" of winter.

I saw The Vee Jay! I met one of your crew at The Dock during the natural gas outage weekend. My son & I and a couple other Father/son combos were down there for the Naples Cup regatta (Optis in our case). Pretty neat. I was hit up for crewing, hard sell! They went right for the close! Awesome crew you have there Vic!

Zip down a day earlier next year ... and we'll do a spin run on Vee Jay ...

here's a shot of one of the Opti kids driving Vee Jay a couple of weeks ago ... he is 12 .... AND actually has more skill than some of my golden ager crew.
Second shot is him running twings for his first ever spin run.

The average age down here is ~65 so any one who doesn't have silver gray hair is a "Hot" candidate for race "crew".

Only problem with the Opti kids is that I need a dozen of them to get enough weight onboard.
