There has been a lot of ill will going around regard this subject on hot days ... I hope this will shed some light on resolving once and for all that bottles don't belong on a J30. Can Vs. Bottle?

Wish more microbrews chose cans over bottles. I've had Dale's and Old Chub on board when we can find it at reasonable prices, though it's usually Yuengling, Becks, Heineken, or local fav Natty Bo' though Bud will do in a pinch. I'm not much for light beer though my co-skipper likes Michelob Ultra.

While I normally hate having beer in a can, there is a standing rule that bottles are not allowed on Natural High. There is much scorn when a case of bottles is brought. Not only is there a risk of shattering, crushed cans take up a lot less space when cruising.
Wine and liquor bottles are the exception. They fit in the liquor cabinet.

I guess you guys missed out on the neat juice boxes of pinot noir? These are for cold days, when cold beer just doesn't warm you up. Nice juice box wine

Thanks Vic - Should we be adding these to our wine collection? If so, which side do I store them on so the cork stays moist?
PS: PHRF-LE sent my 2011 PHRF rating and they didn't give me my 3 seconds for the bottles - Bummer. Oh well, perhaps I'll keep resurrecting it beyond the point that someone grows weary of it or it reaches a stalemate - Bob, I hope I didn't write that too fast
