I have decided to play the PHRF game and have made purchases and adjusments as such

My original PHRF was 144(base -3(spin pole) -6(163 genoa) = 135
This season I have a new power head main (6 sec penalty) and plan to use it with the 150 genoa (if this works, then eventually get a new 155%)

Would I be correct to assume my new PHRF will be the same?
144(base) -3(spin pole) -6(ph main) -0(genoa) = 135

Taras - That is a question to be asked of your local PHRF rating body. Each region operates independently, and not all regions make the same adjustments for changes.

You might get a credit with the 150 genoa, or you might not. Depends on the math.

On my cert, I get no penalty for the spin pole but my o.5 oz spin gets a whopping -6 penalty.

I am playing the game too and will be 145 -3 (main), -6 (spin), -3 (genoa) = 133! Next sail up is to get a 155% and get back to 136.
