John Aras from Bebop, 5th after qualification. After a several decades sailing big boat one-designs he returned to the boat he grew up sailing. I crewed for him in a shake down regatta last year and enjoyed the boat, class and competition. Too bad Scots aren't sailed in Annapolis.
Stan Carroll from Mary Lou is doing his second Mac, crewing Suzanne Philbrick's Tenacity a T10.

Team Zephyr and Team Awesome are represented at the Chicago to Mackinac race as well. Scott Tonguis, Bill and Vivian Smith are racing on a Tripp 43.

Scot Tonguis did an amazing job driving Raven in a touch more wind than he's sailed in on Ponchertrain. Half the crew either own or race on a J/30, including Bill Smith (Awesome) and Larry Woods (formerly Painkiller).
