It is getting on into winter, and that has me excited because it means we are that much closer to the 2013 Patos Race!

Will we finally get 5 J/30s to an event this year? Natural High will be back, double handed again. We'll then drop the boat in Vancouver as we plan to 2-up Southern Straits as well.

Who's planning on it, and who is going to man up and two-up with us? wink Imagine a fleet of doublehanded J/30s sweeping the overall.

Sorry Scott, distance racing just isn't my bag. See you round the cans (or Bowen).

Well every one knows Vampire will be there.

I had to put forced air heat on the boat so the crew will do this race.

And we will be at swiftsure and saltspring too

And the ever popular N100.

I am going to donate a trophy this year to the fastest J30 that does the best in all these long distance races.

I would like to see a similar program south of the border.

I will likely not be racing Swiftsure on NH. if Red Heather doesn't sell, well be doing another run to Neah on her.

We're thinking about it but will have to wait until the new year to decide for sure. I have no race experience, but am quite confident we can finish.

Patric you have one of the best boats in the fleet. Your almost destined to do well in this race.
Patos was designed for the J30
Look at the historical record for this race. In almost every year a J30 is on the podium.
No other design has had this success.
And last year we owned the fleet with Scott crushing so many of the big boats.
Only an olimpic sailor escaped our onslaught of J 30s

If you have questions on preparations , gear or route please ask me, Scott, Marty or Tony.
We all have a good info and how to make the race a success and fun too.
