Hey great, thanks so much for the link. Just bought my welder, tube stock next week and the adventure begins. I'll post pictures. Have you found that you could drive your j right onto the trailer on the average launch platform or should I get it slung out and set on the trailer at a local yard?

the bottom of your keel will have to sit lower than the one in the picture or your going to be over height. I have a 50 ft extension that goes between my boat and trailer to float the boat off. usually great entertainment for the know-it-all's at the ramp.
