My boat is on the hard for some repair work. I had the boat yard staff grind out some blisters on the keel. About 1/3 of the way down the trailing edge there seemed to be a void behind the fibreglass. As it was ground out we discovered a hole that had been drilled straight through the keel and left unfilled. Wierd. Anyone else discover this over the years. Any speculation as to what this might have been for? I'll try to upload the picture from my phone to the photo topic.
