The USSA recommends and ISAF Regulation mandates that "the heel of a keel stepped mast shall be securely fastened to the mast step or adjoining structure." What do you do to comply? Drill through the heel of the mast and the mast step, tap threads, and run in a SS machine screw or something more elaborate?
