It is with heavy heart I announce the passing of hull 54 after an encounter with a ledge. Would like to recycle her parts and pieces back into the class. PM, e-mail as joshuabiermann@gmail.com or call/text at 802.233.0441 if you're looking for anything.

Josh - so sorry to hear this after all the work you did. Any chance you could repair the hull damage?

Thanks Bill,

Yes, the damage is repairable. The insurance company totaled it but I've done enough glass work that I could repair the crack behind the keel. The question is time. In order do the job right it would take a substantial amount of it and to keep the team racing this year we bought another race boat (A mumm 36!) which also needs plenty of work. I also start law school full time at the end of the month and we have a toddler, so schedule is tight. Forcing some tough decisions.

-Josh

What are you asking for them? Are they Class Legal?
I would like to buy one plastic slider with wood finger hole for the interior lockers.
In what condition are the cushions?

Do you have a serviceable #3 jib? I don't do any serious racing so it doesn't have to be perfect. Mine is delaminating badly.

Josh,
Sorry to hear about your boat. Do you still have the propellor?

Rob
