I have no doubt that my J30 will be totaled by the insurance company due to Hurricane Irma. I could swim through the hole in the side when I dove it. There is a full set of cruising sails in my garage as well as the table (and legs). Racing sails are on the boat which is being raised today, so they have spent ten days or so under water at this point.

The insurance company has told me that I can remove things from the interior of the boat, not sure if there is anything specific someone would like me to look at and see if it is serviceable, I am willing to do so when I go down this weekend. Post here, first come first served.

I could use a #3 jib. I'll check back here or call/text 308 520 3316.

I don't know whether this is feasible, but I could use a port side middle toe rail (teak).

Hey Petrouchka - I milled new toe rails from teak for Groovin this year, no issues! If you can find a decent supplier for teak, really easy to match the dimensions with a table saw. Then just redrill holes in current positions, add a bit of 5400, and voila! I'll upload a video soon.

Chrisx - so sorry! Can't imagine... Let me know about your mains! (902) 210-4646 or andrew.hamilton@msvu.ca as mine just ripped during our last race... Would also love to entertain the table. My boat didn't come with one - is it difficult to install?

So sorry for your loss. What do you have in the way of racing sails. How did they fare from their submersion? Do you have a boom kicker? Any chance you can still remove it? Thanks.

I have the racing sails. They were covered in mud. I have rinsed all off and will add pictures here this weekend when they are done drying in the garage and I pull them back out to flake/roll them.

Meanwhile, this shows you the sails that were in my garage, and the tiller. No pics of the table, will add them when I take the other pictures.

Spinnaker tore in the boat, right along the seams and I am going to drop it at Doyle in Miami for repairs. In addition I have the main, 110, and 164 that I will be posting later.

Will they let you salvage the bow pulpit? I could use one that isn't bent.

Are the mast and boom salvageable? The J/30 Class may be interested in these to help others.
