NightOwl Member N Joined: May 2017 Posts: 11 Seattle, WA	When I replaced the mixing elbow on my boat I found I had a problem with the existing coolant hose (it leaked at the ends). I simply replaced it with a section of cooling hose I had available on the boat. It works just fine so far. Last edited by NightOwl; 02/02/18 09:28 PM.

jheinzle OP Senior Member Joined: Jan 2017 Posts: 34 Lincoln, NE	@nightowl-- i tried replacing with regular coolant hose but it can't make the bend with out kinking. Water still gets through- the temp gauge is not indicating too hot-- but the reduced flow concerns me.

On mine i was able to get a fairly straight shot to the elbow, but it could still be better. I will try to find a better solution that won't risk collapse. Or I could try to get a replacement from Tacoma Diesel.
