I've got a used 3/4 prop shaft that needs to leave my garage. It measures 3' 6 3/8" long and rolls true. Any takers? Ben R. 386-405-2613

What setup was it for? For example, what year J/30 and powerplant combo? Also, is there any damage or scoring where the packing or cutlass bearing rides? Are there any other issues?

Thanks,

Nate

Nate, sorry for the delay in response.....had sold the boat, sold my house, bought new boat and moved all in the last 2 months.
The prop shaft was for the standard issue 1980 J/30 - Yanmar 2QM 15- there is obvious wear at the cutlass bearing, not at the packing gland, no "issues" that I can see. When I bought the boat the guy had lots of spares, as his foredeck crew owned a boat yard!
