1983 J30 . I have taken care of this boat very well. And have made many upgrades.
All running rigging has been replaced in the past 4 years and all lines lead back to the cockpit. Both main and secondary winches were replaced with lewmar self-tailing winches. Whenever deck items were replaced, I redrilled and filled with hardened epoxy, and never found any wet spots.

The following is a list of the upgrades you'll find on the J30. The boat has been race in many of the regions longer races such as Southern straight, race to the straights, Swiftsure, Oregon Offshore, and others. We have also cruised all over the San Juans and Canadian Gulf Islands. The Boat is very comfortable with standing headroom, Wallas Diesel forced air heater, two burner Dickinson stove and refrigeration. The interior lights are almost all LED, and the running light are LED as well. Last year I installed a new set of stainless steel lifelines and new radar reflectors on the shrouds.

Beautiful boat. Where did you get the swing arm mount for your GPS? We've been looking for one just like that.

That's alright. If you have the chance to look for a brand on it, I would really appreciate it.

Sorry for the late reply, I looked and can't find a name on that arm. I was assuming it was Garmin but not sure.
