Recently I was trying to replace the wire rope outhaul with dyneema. After sewing the dyneema onto the line pig tail (mast end of the boom) I tried pulling it thru from the aft end of the boom. After going past the forward sheave, the line stopped 3-4' in.

What's in there? Any suggestions on how to replace the wire rope?

There is the bolt that holds the boom bail - see this post. It is also highly likely that the purchase system has twisted.

Thanks. Is the photo of the aft end of the boom? My situation feels like the “jam” is in the foreword end.

yes - aft end. Suggest you pull the aft end off and remove the entire outhaul purchase system, and inspect. Run a messenger line from forward as you pull the purchase system out to make it easy when you reinstall everything.
