I've been to 8 nationals at 5 different locations. In addition to my boat there has only been one other J30 trailered. That might be an indication of the number of J30 trailers out there (or hassles with pulling aJ30 down the road)
Look at J29's, J105's, J92's, Tartan 10's. All good sized fleets that are known to trailer.
Mine is a dual axle Triad - made for a J30
Things to look for
Electric brakes
Load distribution bars and hitch ( can be added later for approx $1000). Hitch alone was $450.

Nice to have
Deck box (can be added)
Ladder (can be added)
Rear jack stands (I lift the entire trailer off the tires for winter storage) -can be added
Torsion bar suspension
Call me, text or email if you want any other input on trailer, trailering or vehicle

I switched from a straight to a S tiller 5 years ago: https://store.ruddercraft.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=181_40&product_id=78

Quite please with the tiller (not their varnish - had to redo it after two years): since then nice.
The S form makes a huge difference to be able to sit at the helm with the autopilot helming, keeping your knees out of the way.
