1981 Hull did not come with a table, I assume this was an option that needed to be ordered at the time of the build. What's the best way to add the holes for the posts. I was thinking of tabbing a sleeve for the front and core drilling into the epoxy for the aft post. Thoughts? It will be an original table. I think I read somewhere about a surface mount for the legs but not sure how stable that would be.

Tabbing sleeves to the first and third stringers with less than a extra, less than full depth stringer added to each would be my suggestion. This is similar to what is on Blitz. This makes these stringers appear as very wide stringers. FWIW, the dimensions on my boat are as follows:

1 31/32" OD tubes 20 7/8" OC
Front tube is 8 5/8" center to center measured from the middle stringer
Aft tube is 12 3/4" center to center measured from the middle stringer

Use the dimensions Chris has but instead of glassing in a metal receptacle for the tubes as the original installations had, use a reinforced fiberglass tube. The tabel legs get "welded" to the tubes with corrosion and are almost impossible to remove.

You just answered a question that I just posted. I'm attempting to remove the two tubes as I don't want the table in the boat. I thought they might be just stuck.
New, they probably slipped right out

thanks.

Chris,

Do you a picture of how your tubes are mounted?

I want to add a original table to my boat.

Thanks,

Chris
