1980 vintage J-30 has suffered serious core intrusion. I was planning on a major re-core project but have too many projects on hand. Available to anyone looking for a project or if no takers I'll reluctantly part out. Photos available soon.

As of yesterday's club race, I am suddenly in need of the stern pulpit (pushpit?). If you have decided to part out let me know. I am just up the highway in BC, so maybe shipping won't be too horrendous!

BUMMER! At least you're getting out, though. Yes, the pushpit is available. I have no idea what they're going for!?! I looked around on the Rig-Rite site and couldn't find anything. Make me an offer...keeping in mind that I'm highly interested in keeping J-s sailing

Nope....mine didn't come with it. Sorry. Lots of other stuff, though. I just have to wait for things to dry out enough to get up and start pulling stuff off! Wettest June on record, they tell me.

Would you have a stove in decent shape? I’d also be interested in handrails if they are in decent shape as well. Condolences on having to part your boat out - tough reality we sometimes have to face. Thank you!

Bil, I still have the original Origo pressure alcohol stove. I'll pull it out and test it. As I said above if you'll send me an email I'll send you photos. I'm at: ravenracingdoug@gmail.com Are you after lifelines or the cabintop grabrails? I made up heavier teak cabintop rails...they should clean up fine. Doug.

Hi Doug, Apologies for finally getting back to you - we’ve been gearing up to head out to sea for work, which turns out to be tricky in the middle of a pandemic. I’m still interested in the head sink, and am also interested in the prop and shaft assembly if it’s straight and in good shape, might be interested in your injectors too if they’re in good shape. Our final port call is in Newport, OR near the beginning of September- I could swing by on the way back up to WA to pick the things up? Let me know what you think!

Hi Kellen, Sounds great! I have the entire drive train so I can pull the shaft, prop and coupler and check the shaft on some v-blocks for straightness. There was no perceptible vibration on it prior to pulling (other than the usual Yanmar stuff), but I should make sure it didn't get a strap around it during the lift at Schooner Creek. Will you be in reach during your sea duty? That'll give me time to pull the sink and everything, too.

I have everything but the vee-berth cushions. Nothing special...they're the original blue Herculon and in good to fair shape. I'll shoot some pics tomorrow. It would seem that shipping might be more than they're worth!?!

If you want I could probably get measurements to make up a set, although I never liked the three cushion layout and thought it would be more practical to do it in two cushions per for easier access to the storage tubs. The drawback there is of you'e seating three the middle person sits on the gap...and we had a lot of post-race parties with 8 or more below!

Hi Watchoverya. Yup. I've only sold one of the stanchions. Make me an offer and let me know if you need the bracket as well. It'll be a while before I can pull it off as everything's under a foot of snow at the moment

Hi Rob, Yes, I did. I was just out digging around in the shop to see if I had a box they'd fit in. We may have a winner I'll box them up and head down and get a shipping cost. Doug.
P.S. Which boat do you have? Still racing or retired to the cruising grounds?

I bought the boat because she's fast, but I do cruise a little. The boat is a 79. (not sure which hull, I am new to j30s) She did race in Maryland under the name Blue Bird. There are a few j30s around the area, so I may reach out and try my hand at racing them. I haven't done anything to the boat that would disqualify it from racing in the association though. It had a lot of hurricane damage, but I am almost finished fixing her up, and your spreaders are key to getting her back in the water. For what ever reason one of them were missing when I purchased the boat.

Cool! You'll enjoy her Koesh was an '80. They're an awesome boat and I really hated to part mine out, but I feel that being an "organ donor" is better than nothing. Here's a link to a Hull Number Decoder if you want: https://www.boatsafe.com/hull-id-numbers/
I checked wit our local "Mailboxes" and shipping via FedEx will run $35, so if you can shoot me a check for $235.00 or send it via PayPal I'll send the spreaders out. I already have them packaged up.
I still have most of the sail inventory. There's a Banks Mylar 155% that I only got up three times that I'll sell for $800. Not the full 165 One-Design, but it gave me a favorable rating here for PHRF. Our fleet dissipated over the years so I ended up doing handicap racing.
(Edit): That's to: Doug Marshall at 34058 Sykes Rd, St. Helens, Oregon 97051.

Hi Chris, Mine did not. I think there are some threads in the Forum showing the original and people's home made table setups. A nice one I was thinking about was bulkhead mounted and suspended from the overhead but I never got around to building one,
