I am planning a doing a double handed race this year and looking at spinnakers, it appears a J80 spinnaker may fit perfectly at 40' luff and nearly the same area as the OD spin, if tacked to the deck. I have an old broken carbon pole I was thinking about attaching to the deck with Selden sprit attachments. Has anyone ever tried to fit a J80 chute on a J30?
