Hey guys I just bought a 1982 j30, it has the typical yanmar 2GM diesel with 2.62 gearing. Unfortunately the blades to the Martec prop that was on the boat came off while motoring to my slip. I’m now looking for a new prop and was told the best way to go is the varifold. Does anyone have any idea of the proper pitch and size of the blades that would be used? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I replaced my prop 2 years ago when I bought the boat, came with a fixed 2 blade.

I ended up going with a Gori Folding Std 2-blade - 15" x 10 x 2-blade RH.
