Hello All,

I have a Raymarine GPS that works great but sometimes when my engine is running(yanmar 2qm15), the GPS gives a warning that it's getting too many amps. Has anyone had this problem? Could the alternator be busted?? I'm not really sure where to start to troubleshoot it but it's annoying.

Best,

Ross

Hello Ross,

That is pretty strange because it is quite tolerant (10.2 - 15.6v DC) put a multimeter on the battery when its running and see what your getting.

Issue i get is when i start the motor shuts it off.
