I'm looking at purchasing a J-30 and I have done all the research short of sailing one. I am hoping that someone in NS might be kind enough to alowme to join them on a sail. Any opportunity would be greatly appreciated.

I`m assuming NS means Nova Scotia,Canada.But maybe if there is another NS then you are still welcome to come to the greatest sailing area on the eastern seaboard.Can you imagine?

Nova Scotia it is,Not too observent ,am I, eh! I moved up from Ranger 26, and a Tanzer 26 before that. As far as being tender goes, it is not a concern unless you are racing.A great cruising boat,safe and quick and real easy to sail.Main alone in a breeze,just like a Lazer,that easy.But you got to be strong and alert.Where abouts in NS are you located and which J 30 are you interested in buying.I got mine in Chester area about 6 or 7 years ago.Good luck, have fun, and contact me any time.I`m like you, I got lots of info before I bought it and haven`t regetted it once.Send me your email.My work email is clive@bradoliver.pe.ca

Take a look at the owners' directory on the front page of the web site. Then, do a search on "NS Canada" for the site. I think we've got about a half dozen in your province.
