Toy Box is almost rebuilt and that will give us four boats in Lake Pontchatrain. But there is another boat that just arrived Friday. Robert SantaPadrea just purchased Hot Chocolate and will be renaming her and launching her soon. That will be five and another boat should be in the works, Cuba Libra, may be purchased and brought back to life. The Fleet here is on its way back. Toy Box in New Orleans

Tox Box is all painted and should be launced this Friday, February 9, 2007. We still await the new engine to be installed, but she will be put in, while the boat is in the water. This is a new chapter for Hull 354 in New Orleans, there will be no north sails ever purchased for this boat ever again.

Ok - I'll bite since I just bought a brand new set of North Sails. Why no more purchasing of North Sails? Did Benz agree to provide you with a lifetime supply as part of the purchase of the boat?

I've just purchased Atalanta, Hull #280 which has been renamed Rambunctious. I brought the boat to Sintes on Thursday for bottom and rigging work and it should be ready to go within the month.
So, count me in as one more active boat on the Lake. That should make six, right?

I think the Gulf Coast fleet is up to nine boats. The North Shore has 4-5 boats and that not counting the south shore. We will have a meeting soon, keep you posted ken
