I would suggest that you contact Ken Sutton at UK Sails, New Hampshire. He kept my boat in sails for the last 10 years. 2 grand sounds a little steep for the sail.

I would strongly suggest Z Sails in Stamford CT. They have made sails for me and I know they have made sails for people at CPYC which will be hosting the J/30 North Americans this summer. It is an owner operated loft run by three guys who personally design and build the sails, and actively race. They campaign J24's at the world class level. Great service, great advice and competitive prices. Get in touch with Chris Wentz at Z Sails, 203 353 8818.

I have a contact at Quantum sails that I can get a very good deal for you through. Contact me at saillancer@aol.com with the specs on the sail and I will get you a quote. It takes about 4 - 6 weeks to get a new sail.

They make great J/30 sails at very reasonable prices. Phone (850) 438-9354

Bobby, I've just moved my j/30 to pensacola, and I'm going to be in the market for sails soon. Are there any j/30's down here that are sailing with Schurr sails that I could check out?
my email is teskridge@ai.uwf.edu
