I am the Chesapeake Bay Fleet Secratary. I am trying to put together a library of all the Journals, newsletters and J 30 information that can be found. I am in search of some Journals. #2 and #4. If someone has an extra copy of these or would allow me to photo copy them it would be appeciated. If I do this right, I may be able to keep this library electronically, and some how make it available to the fleet. After I finish the Journals, I may be looking for some other thing too. If anyone has anything unique that might be of intrest or you think should be archived, please let me know.

Gordon, I found J/30 JOURNAL's Vol 4, May 1983; Vol 5, Dec 1983; Vol 7, Sep 1985; & a newspaper style 11x17" J/30 NEWS, Aug 20, 1982, NO. 3. If any of these fit what you are looking for I would loan them to you or would copy and send to you. My daytime phone is (248) 628-5216, address 2375 Farm Brook Trail, Oxford, MI. 48370. Let me know how I can help. Bob Cox

Gordon, you mentioned that you might be able to produce the J Journals in some electronic format, Adobe pdf's perhaps.
I would be interested in reading these Journals. I remember when I first joined the Class back in 1996, I thought it they were interesting and now it appears are no longer produced.
If I can help please let me know.
Bernie
