I'm getting ready to replace the bridles on our spinnaker pole. I've seen that many boats are now using rope bridles. I was wondering what I should be using to replace the wire?

Careful here guys. Spectra was just approved for the J30 Class. Please read the class rules when changing ANYTHING if you want to stay Class legal.

Larry,

I wasn't sure if you are saying that spectra bridles are OK, or that they are not. Don't the bridles qualify as 'running rigging'?
