You now have control of what gets posted on the J/30 "For Sale" and "Equipment Wanted" pages. Information that was formerly on this inactive page was transferred to the new forum in the J/30 Marketplace section. The class website menu has been updated to take you to the correct pages.

There is a sticky pinned at the top of each of these groups containing a template with directions to make your own posting. Please keep the content and format requested in the template to make it easy for everyone who browses and is looking for something.

Jason King provided some good suggestions on the posting guidelines and simplified templates for the J/30 Marketplace. These have been incorporated into the posted templates.

Jason has also agreed to be the "Moderator" for the J/30 Marketplace. When you go to the J/30 Marketplace you will now see Rambunctious as the moderator. Thanks Jason for helping out with this!

I received an email from someone who had a boat listed with a broker but had not posted on the J/30 Marketplace because he thought our posting rules didn't allow that since the J/30 was listed with a broker. The Boat for Sale Template & Posting Directions has been updated to remove confusion. It is ok to list a boat elsewhere, and have a posting on the J/30 Marketplace. The explanation has been updated to reflect this.

A single thread Other J/30 Sailboats For Sale has been added that lists other J/30s advertised only through brokerage firms or other sources, with a link to the listing and a point of contact. These listings are merely a convenience for those looking for a J/30 and are not intended to be a formal referral. If you run across a J/30 For Sale, please pass on the info to the moderator so the thread can be updated.
