Georges posted a question on the Boat, Sails & Equipment forum at this link. I was considering upgrading all my halyards sheaves this winter to ball bearing Harken sheaves and am wondering why this is not considered here. Could those be not class legal? For the J/30 Class Chief Measurer, can we get a ruling on this per rule 1.5?
