Has anyone gone to a single point lifting system?

I added a single point lift on Fuzzy Wuzzy 5 years ago - extension nuts on the aft 2 keelbolts with eye bolt for each.
We use 2 straps through an inspection port just forward of the seehood and 2 spectra lines from the hook to the stern cleats for some nose trim to keep the rig away from the crane.

Thanks I am looking at doing mid point lift. The strap stopping at the access hatch with the straps from above keeps the stain off the fibreglass from around the hatch. Good idea. 1/2 threaded coupling on two bolts makes me nervous but the strength is probably way more than needed.

The keel bolts/couplings are 3/4" and good for minimum 12,000# each - the weakest link is the eye bolts rated 6,700# each.

Man that bilge is clean Bengt! I don't have a ledge like that in my boat-did you build that up?

Thank you very much, that is very helpful. How did it pick? Did you have to winch it back at all to level out?

We use 2 Spectra lines to the stern cleats to pull the hook aft about 2" for a slight bow down pick - to keep the rig away from the crane and make it easier to load the trailer - without this it will be a slight stern down pick (OK if the mast is down).
Steve - the sump is too narrow for the aft eye bolt and the aft keel bolt is extended and the area filled with epoxy/glass mix.
