CBYRA regatta entry had this race closed out early today but it is back online. Entries due today by mail or online until Midnight without a late fee.

This is usually a mid distance government mark race that starts at 1700. In the old days we pressed up against the midnight time limit, but that hasn't happened for years. SI's should be here soon.

I anticipate sailors and friends will meet after the race at the grassy knoll for the annual Gin Bucket gathering. Bring snacks, beverages, and stories to share.

"It was an absolutely spectacular night. The blood red sunset over the Naval Academy chapel was a sight to behold and the moon rise over the Eastern Shore was just as amazing," Putnam said.
