Is the engine control panel at the stern end of the cockpit in decent shape? I am looking for a replacement for a 2QM15 as well. Also interested in the rudder.

The rudder is not worth saving, large crack down the center. I will get some pictures of the control panel for you.

Wondering if the external hand rails on cabin top are in decent shape and available.

I have a set from Wildcat. I made new ones 2 years ago. Old ones are OK. You can have them. Planning to drive to Newton Ma in March. Can bring them with me

Hi Russ,
My apologies for this slow reply - got sidetracked by the chaos of the holidays. You are more than generous, and I would be happy to accept your offer. However, I am in North Carolina until Early May and won’t be able to meet you in Newton.
I would be happy to pay for shipping, if you have a chance to drop them at a UPS store. They can pack and shipping such things. If you send me the phone number of one near you, I could call them and arrange for payment of charges and - hopefully - make this crazy idea work.
There’s certainly no rush, so please think about this and let me know.
Many thanks,
Bill Veno

Bill,
Sorry about your boat. Do you have winch handles, winches, blocks (backstay; vang; traveller blocks and setup; spin rigging; etc...)? I know it has been a few years, so imagine no, but hoping. I have all "bad" stuff on Hull 30. ericbrucenash@gmail.com

Hi John,

I'm told that Mass Marine Parts recently scrapped a J/30 and may have a mast. It might be worth a call.

Anything left? All cleats, blocks, main, vang, and backstay setups needed. I imagine not? Nice Oz name of the boat.
