Lee Maynard brings more than a decade of race management experience to the 2025 J/30 North American Championship. He has served in all capacities on race committees throughout the Chesapeake and earned his Club Race Officer certification in 2020, followed by Regional Race Officer certification in 2025. His experience spans a wide range of one-design and PHRF fleets, and in 2024 he served as the PRO for the 2024 J/30 North Americans in Annapolis.

A longtime supporter of the J/30 class, Lee values both the competitive spirit on the water and the camaraderie off it. Prior to his career in finance and healthcare management, he worked in the hospitality industry as a captain at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. He looks forward to partnering with the J/30 fleet once again and to experiencing the warm hospitality of New Orleans.
