ZV2 lead in all but 2 races at the first windward and leeward marks but did not cover the leads. Jalapeno nailed some crazy shifts with excellent tactics to finish the 7 race regatta with 9 points including one throw out. The annual PHRF regatta hosted by 4 yacht clubs on Lake Ponchartrain was sailed with winds between 8 and 12 knots. Temperatures were in the upper 60s.
