Dear J30 Fleet,

Happy New Year! I hope everyone is doing well and getting excited for another great season ahead. We wrapped up 2025 in style with an unforgettable National Championship in New Orleans. Huge thanks to NOYC, Casey Grimm and Dave Erwin. Congratulations again to Team Zephyr for taking the 2025 Championship title.

Looking forward, our 2026 Nationals will be hosted by Eastport Yacht Club in Annapolis on September 17 – 20. This year we’re trying something new by pairing our event with the Cal 25 North Americans. We’ll have separate starts but share the same course – parallel regattas, shared dock talk, and one fantastic weekend on the Chesapeake. Annapolis in September is hard to beat, so I hope you’ll join us. The NOR should be published sometime in February.

A quick reminder to make sure your class dues are current at both the local and national levels. It’s a small thing that keeps our class strong and our events running smoothly.

Finally, keep sharing your sailing adventures on our Facebook page, it’s a great way to stay connected and celebrate the spirit of the fleet. And don’t forget to visit our Class Association website regularly; it’s packed with valuable information on all things J/30.
