J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Vessel documentation

AEOLUS #085 was issued a National Vessel Documentation April 2010. On the application I listed the Hull number:TSP300850679.
Upon receiving the completed paper work, The Ship Builder and Year Built fields were empty. Communicating with the Director National Vessel Documentaion Center advises that in order to add this information, I need to provide the original Builder's Certification (CG-1261) or other original document containing the same information, executed by a person having personal knowledge of the facts of build because that person:
1. contructed the vessel; 2. supervised the actual construction of the vessel, or 3. is an official or employee of the company which built the vessel and has examined the records of the company concerning the facts of vessel construction.
Can anyone provide any guidance or personal experience in this matter?
