J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Will not start

Just had my HP fuel pump rebuilt. My engine was blowing a lot of soot and hard to start. Its like a new motor! Ive been told that the new deisel fuel is hard on old fuel systems and to add a fuel additive to every tank.
