As a reminder, please let your local board member know thoughts about the advertisement rule. At the next BOG meeting scheduled to occur on Thursday, October 18th, we will vote on this subject. If we do nothing, advertisement is allowed, so I will be preparing a proposed rule to specifically disallow advertisement.
ISAF and
US Sailing will allow advertisement by default with the new rules staring in 2013.
I will sponsor an online "mock vote" (BOG members only) next week to see where the fleets stands on this subject. So again, please let your local board member know thoughts.
