re Polars ... if we were doing 5.8+ downwind ... then true wind speed would have been somewhere in that 12-14 range, but we had boat motion and a bit of helm work to keep on course ... so I'm thinking I was in that coin toss zone today.
It would be nice if we had that nice sheltered water of Narraganset Bay down here ... but that only happens when the wind is out of the East.
