Looks like we have to make one last change to our meeting schedule as Brad Read had a prior engagement on the 2nd. So we will meet once again at the
Bristol Yacht Club on Thursday, April 16 at 6:00pm in the upstairs meeting room, and then go downstairs for Brad's Volvo Ocean Race presentation starting at 7:00. If all goes well - A) it won't snow, and B) Brad will be able to get a call through to Charlie Enright from Brazil for us.
As before, please let me know if you will be coming, and if you will be bringing anyone else. Also, if you want to partake in the Bristol catered dinner for $15.00 per head (to be paid at the door), I need to know that so I can make sure they have enough meals for you. No, I'm not paying for your catered dinner, but I will be supplying pizza upstairs. And the cash bar will also be open by 5:30.
Maybe in mid-April we can have some more timely boat preparation discussions, and if anyone wants to submit their or anyone else's name for one of the district officer jobs, please be prepared to do so.
