J/30 Racers,
The deadline to sign up for the July 26 - 27 Regional Regatta in Barrington before the late fee was Friday - May 1. However, due to the brutal winter, it appears that most local sailors have been experiencing difficulties getting their heads around the normal spring schedules. I know I have. As such, it appears that not many of you have signed up for the regatta. (That has to be it, as normally I know this would be the first thing on your minds by now) Therefore, we are extending the sign-up date to July 10, after which we have to impose the $50.00 late fee. It just becomes too difficult to readjust the activities needed to run the regatta properly after that.
So please take this opportunity to go online at J30.org and sign up NOW while you are thinking about it. You don't even have to dig out your credit card if you have a Pay Pal account. Do it now. We have a great event planned and you don't want to miss it.
