This boat had spent the last 10 years in Hood River, Oregon. There is a turnbuckle setup on the front side of the mast that secures the mast to the hull on this boat. Plan is to go through the entire boat over the next few months. One of the main reasons for buying an older J30 like this 1981 is all of the great info on this site. I will try to add to this knowledge base as I go along. I'm having the boat delivered to my home on the 19th so it can sit next to my wood shop. Next up will be the survey and then the fun can begin in earnest.
