J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Hull Joint Crack

Another thing to fix before doing the hull paint is the pretty crack between the hull and the deck. My temptation is to grind it out a bit and fill it with thickened epoxy, mainly so it can be painted successfully. I don't think any of the sealants that might be tempting to use will hold paint. Please let me know any experience in this area. I really don't want my pretty new red paint to have some ugly cracks going through it. I have this crack everywhere the hull seam is exposed.
