I have had CAN106 for only 12 months and suspect that hose runnning from the bilge to the Gusher has been re-routed for some reason.
Just before meeting the gusher, the hose runs up between the pump and port locker making a tight radius turn aft before joining the pump. The suction is severe enough to have crimped the hose and I'm not getting very good draw.
I notice a couple of holes on the port locker (one is occupied with a badly installed shore-power plug). Were these holes in the locker the path for the original hose?
