Patrick, I solved this issue a few years back by wrapping and taping my electric wires into foam pipe insulation from home depot. something along the line of : https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbil...al-Pipe-Insulation-ORS05812/204760809...Made a world of difference for my wife and I...
