J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment Engine Issue

I assuming that’s a yanmar with a water pump behind that pulley. Is the shaft seized? Or is it that the pulley failed and wore itself. I hope the shaft turns and therefore no overheat occurred. Looks like a new water pump and pulley. Check that the belt is not too tight. Good luck. Dan #409
