J/30 Class Association Forums J/30 Forum The Boat, Sails and Equipment bildge drain, limberholes

On my 1981 modle there are 2 holes in the moulded bottom section where the engion cover fit into. These were too small to drain the engion compartmemt fleer when the boat heeled .So I drilled them larger APPROX 7/16, I only went thru the moulded part about 3/8 thick or so . If kept clear they drain quit well. If these are limber holes then this may help.If not indicate what limber holes are.
