As an ex-J30 sailor it is interesting to see the various posts.

If you want rain free sailing, come to the NW. Our Etchells fleet has finished it's spring series (we started in March) and is half way thru the summer series. We occassionaly get some mist, but only missed one day of sailing - way too much wind. See the feature article in the June 2006 "Sailing" magazine.
